River is the creek that consisted of meltices from the codrivers. The Yangtze River is converged from many streams. It doesn't come out fromnowhere. 5. The invention of the engraving technology could be referred to the origin of the river. The origin of the engraving is converged from a long period of time and different stages. Seven thousands years ago, at the end of New Stone Age in China, the evidence indicated that the activities of using printing tools had begun. Through the accumulation of numerous ancestors' experience, the printing technology gradually evolved and integrated from a long period of time. It started from engraving the simple drawing, and then the character, until the maturity of engraving technology was ready for the book printing. 6. The engraving technology is a synergistic application of craftsmanship. It is impossible to be completed by one person. The earliest invention of the engraving technology is in China, but by whom and when remains unknown. It is to conclude that the Printing technology is a synergy of numerous people's experience and collaborative works through a long period of time. 7. The Printing technology is gradually evolved. It isn't suddenly invented by someone at the certain time. That's why there is no specific evidence could be found in any existed literature. According to the archaeological evidence, it has proved that the invention of the printing technology certainly wasn't invented by one person 8. When the world earliest print artifact was found in China, it had proved that Chinese invented the Printing technology 9. It is now assured that paper is not invented by Tasi-Lun. Although we still don't know who the inventor was, the archaeological evidence of paper has proved that Chinese is the world carliest paper inventor with no doubt. The debate of the invention of engraving technology should have come to an end as well. Conclusions 1. To understand the evolution of the Printing technology is help to enlarge the spirituality of collaborative efforts of human beings. 2. The book printing history is a part of the Printing history. From the perspective of the macro-printing history, the Printing history is the history of craftsmanship. 3. The invention of the Printing technology is a synergy of numerous people's experience and collaborative works through a long period of time, which wasn't invented by one person at the certain time. * Professor Lee, Shing-Tai retired from Chinese Culture University, Taipei, Taiwan.
